It has been a transformational and exciting journey working with David during 2018 and 2019 in his capacity as a consultant to re-energise and re-focus the UK sales team. As the newly appointed BSI  UK and Ireland MD I inherited a sales team of 90 people who where reactive to incoming customer enquires but changes in the market place required a proactive, confident and highly effective team  to really understand our customers and sell solutions not just product.

David has this incredible energy and passion underpinned by comprehensive knowledge of the Power of Persuasion methodology which inspires and brings out the best in sales teams . I had the privilege to attend some of David’s class room training sessions and they were completely engaging, highly informative but so importantly impactful in changing behaviours.

David has extremely high expectations from sales teams and mixes encouragement with appropriate codes of behaviour to constantly raise the bar over expectations and ultimately performance. David’s face to face training is supported by his on-line platform which enables a peer to peer learning experience and independent measurement of sellers to fully engage with the learning program.

Additionally David made me think differently about our recruitment process and what good sales talent looked like . Business are built on people and we focussed more on attitude than relevant sales experience and recruited at pace through a streamlined process. David’s positive influence increased our sales and enabled us to achieve record sales growth.
